Bodrum Maritime Museum reveals the Bodrum maritime history while also exhibiting the current objects to be transferred from now to the future.

You may find here the historical maritime documents and articrafts, preserved sponges, historical fisheries, models of the traditional and world-famous ‘Bodrum Type’ boats, the ‘Gulets’ used for transport during the early stages of tourism in the area.


In addition there are two permanent exhibitions :

‘Hasan Güleşçi Shell Collection’ and ‘Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı Collection‘ both donated to the Museum by the collectors the exhibitions are named after.

You may visit Bodrum Maritime Museum every day, except Mondays, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (during July-October between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m.).
